Smart Kids was started by Sue Milne in 1994. It expanded quickly and she soon needed to move the business out of her garage in Auckland. A few years later the business expanded internationally with offices in Sydney and the UK. Smart Kids now supplies 100,000's of books and resources to parents and schools globally.
In March 2022, our Letters and Sounds programme The Code was validated by the British Department for Education (DfE).
