The Feelings Artbook
Many children find drawing more pleasurable than writing. These activities and worksheets use drawing as the basis for exploring emotional issues and promoting children's emotional literacy. Develop self-esteem by helping children to identify strengths, achievements and aspirations. Many activities creatively explore a sense of personal power, helping them to take responsibility for their emotions and actions. Identify and define a wide range of emotions, expand emotional vocabulary and explore more complex feelings. Children are encouraged to define feelings such as jealousy and embarrassment in both words and drawings. Encourage children to consider other people's feelings and preferences.
